PVE chars able to use faction unlocked skills.
I have a suggestion. I think pve characters should be able to use pvp(faction) unlocked skills ONLY in pvp arenas. If you tried to use them in other places it would automatically be locked so you couldn't cheat by getting free skills.
I personally think it would be a good idea for people who have pve chars, and want to be able to pvp with them if they don't have pvp slots.
I don't see any harm, because it'd be the same thing as making a pvp char slot and just putting the skills on them instead. So it isn't "imbalanced" or anything.
So what do you guys think?
Should pve chars be able to use faction/pvp unlocked skills JUST in pvp arenas as if they were a pvp slot?

Um... can anyone say too hard to implement? It may be a cool idea, but this one is beyond what can be done. It's too hard to make it so you can only acess skills in certain areas on a character.
Also, I think the idea is pointless. If you REALLY want to be doing PvP with a PvE character, then you will just buy the skills you want for that character.

I dont really see any harm, but I dont have a need for this. If you really want somethign done about this any tiem soon, spring the $10-$20, and buy one or two more slots to pvp with. It would save anet some time, so we can get on with more important things.

This has already been suggested, just recently in fact. I'd say you may as well just make a pvp character. The ony real difference would be you couldn't have any special skin armor like 15k or anything.

I love this idea.
I wouldn't have to waste time buying/capping all the skills needed, and i could focus on getting the neat looking armor7weapons.

Wrong. You have the choice between them, so if i wanted to use my RP character for PvP, he should have the rigths to do so.
The thing with PvEs in PvP, is to get to show off, your fancy armor
Other than that, it takes time rerolling pvp characters.

Like I said, the only thing you can have on your pve you can't have on your pvp would be the armor skins. There's no reason for devs to waste their time on crap like this when you can just hop on a pvp character and have all the skills you unlocked instantly rather than paying faction specifically for one character be able to use them in pvp. You do have the right to use your pve character in pvp, but if you want to show of your fancy armor soo bad, you should have to earn it by buying/capping the skills you would need for pvp.

Wow, you said what he said was wrong, then just repeat what he said worded differently.
There is no reason to bring a PvE character into PvP. A PvE character will be at a disadvantge, because they can only have the weapons they can get a hold of. As well, many PvE players don't customize their weapons (keeps the resale value) and so deal less damage.
But if you want to be able to show off your "uber" armor (that adds nothing extra) in PvP, you need to earn it, just like you earn the faction for the skill unlocks.
You don't need to pay for the skills, you could just make a PvP character and use them. But they won't have the "uber" armor (that does nothing extra) for you to show off.
